JAGSoM (Jagdish Sheth School of Management) has announced the appointment of Venkatesh Sunkad as its new Director. With over two decades of global leadership experience in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT) and telecommunications, Sunkad brings a wealth of expertise to the institution.
Dr. Sunkad has held prominent positions in leading organisations, including Vodafone India, Viasat USA and Mobileum India, where he played a pivotal role in driving technological advancements and business strategies.
His impressive academic background includes a Master’s degree from the University of Texas, a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado and an Executive MBA from the University of Denver. Recognised for his exceptional contributions, Dr. Sunkad was named one of the “Top 50 Cable Technologists in the USA” by Cable Today magazine and honored with the “Distinguished Professor Award” by AIM magazine.
A prominent thought leader, Dr. Sunkad has delivered over 100 international talks and has a strong portfolio of publications in leading business and research journals.
