Cyberpeace, BSI Learning Institute Australia Introduces Cybersecurity Programme

On International Day of Peace, CyberPeace, in collaboration with BSI Learning Institute Australia, commenced Indian-Australian Qualifications Cybersecurity programme. The panel on 'Harnessing, Inculcating and Fostering Global Cybersecurity Skill Pathways' addressed strategies and initiatives to address the digital age's most serious concerns, integrating the rapid advancement of technology and our world's ever-increasing inter-connectedness, causing cybersecurity to emerge as a critical concern for governments, organisations and individuals alike.

Kala Philip, CEO, BSI Learning Australia; Catherine Gallagher, Minister Commercial and Head, Austrade-South Asia and Major Vineet Kumar, Founder and Global President, CyberPeace, addressed the inauguration ceremony. The panel included Mathew Johnston, Minister-Counsellor (Education and Research) for South Asia; Dr Tripta Thakur, Director General, NPTI, India; John Foley, Programme Lead, UK-India cyber programme, EY and Shrikant Sinha, CEO, TASK, Telangana, India.

The panel discussion also addressed the required steps to develop a trained and adaptive cybersecurity workforce capable of effectively defending against growing cyber threats. The conversation delved into the significance of education and training in developing the next generation of cybersecurity experts, as well as the necessity for constant learning and upskilling in this ever-changing area.
