AUD 1.5 Million Worth Scholarship Awaits Indian Students.

Indian students aspiring to study at Sydney-based Macquarie University are in for some real rewards. In a recent announcement the University, which ranks amongst the top 10 universities in Australia, has declared scholarships worth AUD 1.5 million for outstanding students in India. The sources at the University explain that the focus of this scholarship is to support postgraduate female students, undergraduate students across all Macquarie courses, and students interested in pursuing data science.

The three different scholarships announced are, The Macquarie International Women’s Scholarship for female students pursuing postgraduation where the scholarship amount will provide for up to AUD $11,000 in tuition fees for the full duration of the course. The Macquarie University Undergraduate Academic Excellence Scholarship is open to applicants applying for undergraduate degrees and provides for up to AUD $17,000 in tuition fees for the full duration of the course for academic session commencing in 2018. The third scholarship is the Vice-Chancellor's International Scholarships - Data Science Scholarship for Indian Students. To encourage quality applicants to register for the University’s recently launched Master of Data Science programme, the university will offer a scholarship worth up to AUD $12,000 for the full duration of the course for academic session commencing in 2018.

The deadline for application to any of the above scholarships is January 31, 2018 for Session 1 and June 30, 2018 for Session 2.
