Mr. David Flood who has been appointed as Manager - Enterprise Ireland will be taking up his position in July 2018. He has a strong connection with Ireland’s HEIs with 20 years of experience working at the interface between academia and industry. In previous roles, David has managed a specialist technology programme in power electronics in six of Ireland’s HEI’s and developed and managed new funding mechanisms for third level research themes and projects. Most recently, as a Senior Commercialisation Specialist in Enterprise Ireland, David’s focus has been on entrepreneurship and business formation. Specifically, the identification of and support for unique technologies that can transition from the lab to the marketplace and have the capacity to form the basis of a High Potential Start-up company.
Enterprise Ireland is the Irish government agency responsible for the overseas promotion of Irish companies and education institutions.
