TAPMI Breaks Into QS World Ranking's 101+ Band

T A Pai Management Institute (TAPMI) has added another feather to its’s hat by featuring in the prestigious QS World Ranking Management School rankings. The QS World University Rankings is the most widely read university rankings in the world. 

The QS rankings evaluate business schools’ performance relative to their key missions, whilst accounting for what matters most for prospective students. The core metrics include employability (35%), Alumni Outcomes (15%), Value for Money (20%), Thought Leadership (20%) and Diversity (10%). 

Reacting to the inclusion, Madhu Veeraraghavan, Director, TAPMI, said, “A proud moment for TAPMI as we have been Ranked amongst 101+ Band of the QS World University Rankings: Masters in Management Category 2020. This is a new milestone and a new beginning for us. We thank the alumni and student fraternity, faculty, researchers, corporate partners and all other stakeholders for believing in us.”

University of Texas at Arlington, University of South Carolina, Liverpool Management School, Georgia State, and Rensselaer Polytechnic are placed in the same 101+ band as TAPMI. Amongst the top 100 in this rankings, only three Indian B-Schools have found a place – IIMB (26), IIMA (27) and IIMC (46). Some of the global schools that find a place in the top 100 QS Management School rankings are HEC Paris, London Business School, IE Business School, Duke (Fuqua), Michigan (Ross), Imperial College, Warwick and Trinity College Dublin among others.

Recently, TAPMI earned the double crown of AMBA and AACSB accreditation. The feat has propelled the institute to an elite club of five eminent business schools in India.
