Rishihood University Launches UG, PG Courses

Rishihood University, with a vision to reimagine higher education in India for the next 100 years, has begun the admissions process for the first batch of students looking to apply for UG & PG Programs in Entrepreneurship, Healthcare, Education and Creativity. The first phase of courses is slated to begin in the 3rd week of July 2020. 

Located in Sonipat the ‘hub for higher learning and research’, Rishihood University aims to integrate lifelong learning transcending age, subject choice, and society by closely working with school students, individuals pursuing higher education and working professionals. 

With a recent Niti Aayog report stating that more than 53 per cent of individuals passing out from higher education Institutions as unemployable, Sahil Aggarwal, Co-Founder and CEO of Rishihood University, who also serves on the board of Vision India Foundation and the Rashtram School of Public Leadership, has brought together an esteemed panel of advisors to help tackle asymmetry between learning and employability. 

Speaking on the launch of the programs, Sahil Aggarwal said “India is on the cusp of becoming a major contributor to the world's knowledge economy by 2030. As India prepares for this challenging transition, the entire ecosystem of educational institutions, government and corporations must prepare today’s youth for an ever-evolving and volatile transition.”

Other prominent advisors include, HP Mangla, JK Garg, Dr. Madhukar Gupta, Dr. Mahesh Gupta, R N Prasher, Rakesh Aggarwal, Ritu Beri, Saroj Khan, Dr. Shenoy Robinson, Sunita Kohli, and Tilak Chandna.

Dr. Kamlesh Misra, has been appointed as Vice-Chancellor of Rishihood University. He is a well-known and reputed strategist and innovative leader in conceiving, organizing and managing educational and research organizations. He already has the distinction of being the founding Vice-Chancellor of Auro University, Surat as well as the Vice-Chancellor of Ansal University, Gurgaon.
