Prof Ajit Prasad, Director - IIM Lucknow Passes Away

It is with profound grief and sorrow we inform the sad demise of our Director - Prof. Ajit Prasad around 03:30 p.m. on October 31, 2018.Prof. Ajit Prasad, Director of IIM Lucknow, was admitted to the SGPGIMS Lucknow for over two weeks. He was in a critical condition and was on life support since then.

Prof. Ajit Prasad was appointed the director of the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow in October 2015. He studied MA from the St Stephen's College, Delhi, from BA Honors in Economics, Delhi School of Economics, and MA in Theoretical Statistics and Economics. After this, IMI studied PGDM in International Business from Delhi, PhD from Applied Ecomotorics from Patna University, as well as MSc in London School and Economics in Social Policy and Development. Apart from working in Planning Commission for five years, two years in SBI, three years in Iskap, he has experience of the academic field more than 17 years in various institutions.
