Krea University Announces 4th Round Of Admissions

Krea University, founded by global visionaries, is all set for its Round 4 of undergraduate admissions for the academic year 2020 -2023. Their undergraduate School of Interwoven Arts and Sciences (SIAS) offers 3-year B.A. (Honours) and B.Sc. (Honours) degrees, with an option to do an additional year of Advanced Studies.

“The undergraduate programme is designed to address the need of changing dynamics in today’s world and times, said Dr Sunder Ramaswamy, Vice-Chancellor of Krea University." “At Krea, we believe the academic merit and potential of a student goes beyond exam scores. Our holistic selection process offers aspirants ample opportunities to showcase their qualities.”

The university pioneers the Interwoven Learning (IWL), based on a set of guiding principles essential for a transformative college experience of today. The Interwoven Learning Model weaves together the arts and sciences, creativity and action, perspectives from the east and west and draws on lessons from the past to get students, future-ready.

“Our undergraduate programme brings the real world to the classroom. The journey from the intense first year to the rigorous capstone thesis in the third year is punctuated with immersive experiential opportunities guided by the fine academic faculty and practising professionals. Through the journey, the students form a better understanding and gain further insights into the streams that they choose for their career progression. Krea aims at empowering students beyond hard skills for immediate employability and with lifelong value for impactful leadership. Our green sustainable campus in Sri city is fully equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and is nestled in nature. We also have robust financial assistance for applicants in need.”

The University found its genesis to address the unprecedented challenges and opportunities of the 21st century for the emerging generation. Backed by a legion of best minds, Krea University aims to impart a unique undergraduate course for students that provides a holistic approach to education. The programme brings together the unique interwoven learning, some of the finest academic minds from across the world, access to global alliances and a talented peer group.

Today’s leaders and opinion-makers have tough jobs. To mould such leaders, it is imperative that students of today have the right access to a complementing education - learning that combines creativity, critical thinking, communication, contemplation, cross-disciplinary approaches, real-world implementation, and the ability to negotiate unanswered questions, more so at a time when the whole world is in an unprecedented state of social and economic lockdown. Knowledge through books alone will not be able to build personalities who can sense, adapt, evolve and provide strategies that will enable paradigm shift during uncertain times. Hence, the integrated approach to education is vital. It has to stimulate technical analysis along with a thinking capability beyond the obvious to offer solutions.

To inculcate an overall stimulus for a brighter tomorrow, the university is now accepting applications from spirited minds for the Undergraduate BA (Honours) programme in Economics, History, Politics, Literature, Arts, Social Studies – with additional minors in Business Studies and Philosophy. The University also offers B.Sc (Honours) in Computer Science, Biological Science, Environmental Courses, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Psychology as well.
