Application Deadline For London School Of Economics (LSE) Led Programmes In India

Round 2 applications to get admission into the undergraduate & graduate programmes of Indian School of Business & Finance (ISBF), New Delhi, are currently open. ISBF is one of the five Featured Teaching Institutions of The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). All programmes - undergraduate and postgraduate -  are taught with academic direction from LSE, and the degree is awarded by the University of London. 

ISBF has only 120 seats available for the 2019 intake across six l undergraduate programmes, namely,

  • BSc (Hons) Economics
  • BSc (Hons) Economics & Finance
  • BSc (Hons) Economics & Management
  • BSc (Hons) Business & Management
  • BSc (Hons) Accounting & Finance
  • BSc (Hons) Management & Digital Innovation

and 100 seats across four graduate diploma programmes, namely:

  • Graduate Diploma in Economics
  • Graduate Diploma in Finance
  • Graduate Diploma in Management
  • Graduate Diploma in Data Science

ISBF had announced 3 admission rounds for the 2019 intake – the Early Round concluded on 10th December 2018, followed by Round 1, whose last date was April 15, 2019.  Round 2, the last round of admissions, ends on June 3, 2019, for undergraduate & June 7, 2019, for graduate diploma programmes. 

ISBF follows a rounds-based rolling admissions policy, which means that other things equal, applicants of earlier rounds have a higher likelihood of being accepted into the programme of their choice. It also means that applications will be closed as soon as all seats are filled.

Every admission round comprises of three steps:

Step 1: Filling the Application Form

Step 2: Appearing for the ISBF entrance test iMET for undergraduate admission, and iGDET for graduate admissions, based on which candidates will be shortlisted for the next step

Step 3: Appearing for the Personal Interview (PI)

Eligibility for applying

All candidates who have completed Class XII, or will be completing it in 2019, are eligible to apply for the undergraduate programmes, irrespective of their stream, or combination of subjects, in school, provided that they had Mathematics up to Class X. Additionally, applicants to the BSc (Hons) Economics and BSc (Hons) Economics & Finance programmes must have Mathematics in Class XII.

Candidates who have successfully completed or are in the final year of a full-time undergraduate degree programme, are eligible to apply for the Graduate Diploma programmes at ISBF. Candidates applying for the Graduate Diploma programme in Economics or Data Science must have studied Mathematics at least up to Class XII.
