José Milano to take over from Thomas Froechlicher as Director General of Kedge Business School on September 1, 2017

Thomas Froehlicher, Director General of ‘KEDGE’ Business School, has recently announced the decision to leave the post of Director General to focus on new projects.

François Pierson, Chairman of KEDGE's Board of Directors, presented Thomas Froehlicher’s successor, ‘José Milano’, to the Board of Directors, who met yesterday to approve the proposal of placing José Milano as Director General. The decision to advance José Milano to the position of Director General of ‘KEDGE’ got the full backing of Stanislas de Bentzmann, the School's destined Chairman.

“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Thomas Froehlicher for the three years he has spent leading the KEDGE Business School Group. His legacy includes an institution recognized as one of the world's top-tier business schools, triple-accredited by EQUIS, AMBA and AACSB. It is a School with two Master's degrees and with state approval for the maximum duration for all of its programs”, said François Pierson. José Milano joined KEDGE Business School on January 1, 2016 as Deputy Director General with the particular responsibility of implementing the strategic and international plan.

“José Milano has forged an excellent joint working relationship with Thomas Froehlicher. I have every confidence that he will ensure that KEDGE Business School continues to be among Europe's leading business schools”, added François Pierson.

José Milano is a graduate in economics and management from the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Cachan. He also holds a postgraduate degree in corporate sociology from the IEP Paris, a postgraduate degree in international economic law, and a postgraduate qualification in business law from Paris-I University, in addition to a certificate of proficiency to practice law from the Paris Bar Association.
