Clever Harvey Hosts First Virtual Career Summit 'Advantage 15'

Clever Harvey in association with IIT-Kharagpur E-Cell is organizing India’s largest entrepreneurship competition of the year for teenagers - 'Advantage15 Challenge 2021.'

As part of this biggest pitch competition, students of Class 8 to 12 signed up for a 10-day challenge by picking a category of their choice - Tech Innovator or Entrepreneurship. In these 10 days, they had to identify a problem worth solving, learn the basics of business and tech from industry experts and create a business or tech innovation plan under the mentorship of Ivy League Alumni, supported by IIT-Kharagpur E-cell.

Out of the total participants, 24 teams will qualify for the final round that will be held at the Advantage 15 Summit, India’s first virtual career event for teens and parents on October 24th, 2021. These teams will get an opportunity to pitch their business ideas ‘Shark Tank’ style to a jury of experts during the Summit.

Finally, four shortlisted winners will win a cash prize of Rs. 2 lakh and unlock a certification of achievement from IIT-Kharagpur E-cell.  

Speaking on the initiative, Sriram Subramanian, Founder and CEO, Clever Harvey said, “In our endeavour in bringing young students closer to their dream career by 15 years, we are glad to organize India’s biggest pitch competition teens. We aim to empower them to discover and explore career interests, develop global industry-relevant skills as well as get rewarded for their achievements. At the same time, the goal is to help parents and educators guide teens towards career clarity while in school. Moreover, the Advantage 15 Summit is a platform for students to unlock their hidden talents and win exciting prizes”

Besides the largest teen business pitch competition, the one-day virtual Summit will feature 15 live events and competitions for both parents and children. Scavenger Hunt, Pictionary are some of the exciting games for students wherein they can win big prizes like iPads, speakers, headphones and more.

Further, Advantage 15 Summit will have a stellar line-up of speakers for intriguing one-on-one sessions. The speakers will be covering diverse topics like Entry into Ivy League, Future of the Workplace post the Pandemic, Importance of Entrepreneurship mindset for teenagers and the future workforce, and many more.

On the final day, Indian Stand-up Comedian, Writer and YouTuber, Biswa Kalyan Rath, to give the keynote address as well as interact with students and parents. Other eminent speakers include Madhavi Desai (Career Counsellor at India’s first counselling firm started in 1989), Tarak Goradia (Education Innovator in Delhi Govt, Co-creator of Entrepreneurship Mindset Curriculum, Mentor for EdTech Startups, Cloud Data Analytics Consultant), Kimberly Dixit (CEO & Co-founder at The Red Pen), Debopam Raha (Leader of Healthcare IT Public Health in India and Executive Director at KPMG, India), Lakshay Jain (Teen Founder & CEO, Mevrex ) Divya Balaji Kamerkar (CEO and Co-Founder, Pinky Promise) and many others.
