CBSE, Ramakrishna Mission Collaborate To Give Value Education

India’s most accepted education board, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has tied up with the world famous spiritual socio religious organisation Ramakrishna Mission to provide value education to its students

The programme which is meant for students of class VI to VIII or from class VII to IX is a three-year graded values education programme. However, the implementation of this value based programme is not compulsory for the schools. The schools who wish to enrol into the programme will have to register with the Ramakrishna mission and will need to send teachers for a two day training initially.

The programme aims to make students of CBSE-schools more awakened citizens with values such as peace, harmony, humility and cooperation absorbed into their character.
