Jones Mathew Named Principal At Great Lakes Gurgaon

Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, has appointed Jones Mathew as the new Principal and Head, effective July 1, 2024. Mathew succeeds Debashis Sanyal, who will continue with the institute as an advisor and mentor.

Mathew will be responsible for overseeing the institute's academic and administrative functions. Prior to this role, he served as the Programme Director for the one-year programme and Chairperson of Rankings and Accreditation at Great Lakes Gurgaon, where he played a key role in obtaining accreditations from the NBA and AMBA (UK).

Mathew brings 33 years of experience in both academic and industry settings, primarily in the marketing field. He holds a Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Delhi and has worked with organisations such as the Hero Group, HCL Ltd, MECON, Yonex and Reebok. He has also contributed to academic journals and has published award-winning case studies.
