JAGSoM Celebrates Indian Thought Leaders In Global Business Education

The Jagdish Sheth School of Management (JAGSoM), one of India's first six AACSB-accredited and QS-ranked business schools, held an event in Atlanta, USA, to celebrate the global achievements of Indian management educators. The event, aimed to establish JAGSoM as a global business school originating in India.

This event witnessed the felicitation of Lily Bi, President and CEO, AACSB International; John Byrne, Editor-in-Chief, Poets&Quants; Dr Dan LeClair, CEO, Global Business School Network (GBSN); Dr Francisco Veloso, Dean, INSEAD and JAGSoM Alumni. 

JAGSoM has launched a compendium, ‘Minds Without Borders: Celebrating Indian Education Leaders Globally,’ to honour global leaders in management education. The edited book celebrates the achievements of 47 Indian-origin scholars in senior leadership positions at globally accredited and ranked business schools. The compendium highlights the importance of recognising and celebrating Indian-origin scholars in management education.

Soumitra Dutta, Dean, The University of Oxford's Saïd Business School, said, “We as academicians must focus on harnessing the power of our global institutions to make a greater impact in these emerging geographies. We must embrace interdisciplinary collaboration, question the status quo and invest in research to prepare for a future transformed by technology.”
