IMI Kolkata has been selected as a Mentor Institute under the Margdarshan Scheme 2023-24 by the All India Council for Technical Education, demonstrating its excellence in education and nurturing growth within the academic community.
IMI Kolkata has selected Army Institute of Management Kolkata and Globsyn Business School Kolkata as its MBIs for a three-year mentorship programme starting from 2024-25. The programme will focus on growth and excellence within these institutions, including workshops on NBA accreditation and NIRF ranking, faculty research initiatives, placement and entrepreneurship programmes and outcome-based learning systems.
IMI Kolkata is collaborating with other academic institutions to support societal welfare, while Mentor Beneficiary Institutions will receive expert guidance in accreditation, ranking and development without any costs.
The initiative aligns with the National Education Policy 2020 objectives, emphasising accreditation as a crucial driver for educational restructuring and enhancement.
