In recognition of exemplary contribution made by ICFAI case research center towards ‘Case Method’, the “Thought Leadership Award” was conferred to ICFAI by Baroness Verma and Lord Hastings, who is heading KPMG as global head of corporate citizenship and lord at house of lords. The presentation ceremony was held at the Hotel Mayfair, London.
Prof Debapratim Purkayastha, Associate Dean, received the award on behalf of ICFAI Case Research Center.
Thanking the jury, Prof. Debapratim said “Case studies are a mainstay of any good management program and ICFAI has cemented its position as a leading provider of quality case studies worldwide. ICFAI started its case initiative in 2000 and within a very short time span established itself as one of the world’s top three case development schools. This honour goes a long way in showcasing our impact in the global management education scene”.
ICFAI has also been recognized as a ‘great place to study’ at the historic House of Commons, London, United Kingdom. The award was presented by Baroness Verma, chairman of Lords European External Affairs Committee and member of Lords EU Select Committee to ICFAI Group represented by Sudhakar Rao, Director - Branding.
While accepting the award Mr. Sudhakar Rao said “Our students learn with values, work with commitment and live healthy and happy lives and we are committed to maintaining the highest standards that ICFAI has set. ICFAI has established 11 Universities, 9 B-Schools, 7 Tech Schools and 5 Law Schools and has been pioneering professional education in India for over 30 years. This is our humble contribution towards nation building”.
ICFAI Group has established Universities across India at Hyderabad (ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, which is a Deemed University) Tripura, Dehradun, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Jharkhand, Jaipur, Himachal Pradesh (Baddi) and Raipur.
