In line with the National Education Policy, providing quality education is one of the main goals of the establishment of 100 new Sainik Schools. It intends to provide pupils better employment options, including the chance to enlist in the military. The announcement stated that it also presents a rare chance for the business sector to work alongside the government in the endeavour of nation-building by fostering the development of today's youngsters into responsible adults.

The new Sainik Schools, while affiliated with respective education boards, will operate under the supervision of the Sainik Schools Society, adhering to the Rules and Regulations established for new Sainik schools in partnership mode.

According to the statement, these institutions will offer instruction based on the Academic PLUS curriculum in accordance with the Sainik school model in addition to the usual associated board curriculum.
